I was born in Laguna Beach and grew up in Dana Point. I moved with my family to colorado later on with my six brothers and sisters. I did a lot of moving around after graduating high school between California and Charleston, South Carolina before settling down in Fort Collins, Colorado where I currently have made a home with my wonderful husband, Nathan. We have two beautiful girls named Bailey and Kora. They are talented, beautiful, and make us laugh! We love animals, especially dogs, and have a French mastiff named Sailor.
I’m a people person, it doesn’t matter who or where you are there is always an opportunity to meet someone new, strike up a conversation, and share the love. Always a California girl, I’m in love with the beach and ocean. I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and like to ride my bike or take long walks. I would love to Travel More and continue making memories with my family. If it’s a road trip, that’s even better.
When I became a mom, I would read books to my kids from amazing authors. Dr. Seuss is one of our favorites because they are fun to read and have an important message. I felt a need to write my story about Skip after my own experiences as a kid, in hopes I could reach young readers like so many other authors who have reached me and my kids. I hope it teaches anyone who reads it to appreciate and be proud of themselves for who they are and to enjoy their natural talents.
