Over his career Doug had fun creating ten national product trends (pop candles), graphic trends (lips), clothing trends (juniors sleep shirts), designing for Bloomingdale’s and specialty stores and golf apparel for country clubs. Creating bogus logos for graphics on shirts, foreshadowing Crazy Shirt & Tommy Bahama. Imagined & opened the very first postal shop store. Innovated product licensing forty-five years ago. (Doug shown here [then] with much more hair.)
Created “Eye on America” phrase for CBS. Wrote opening line for Chevy Chase, hosting Academy Awards. Recently, national Got Milk campaign products: baby rompers packaged in little milk cartons for half pints—also got milk clothing, mugs, and glassware, and now he’s doing pickleball, the wildly exciting new phenom pickleball! Design never sleeps!
