MISSION STATEMENT Waterside’s mission is to help authors and publishers create and distribute books that bring knowledge, joy, and wisdom to the world.
WHAT WE DO Waterside publishes ebooks, audio books, print on demand and traditional print books. We have been honored for several years by Amazon as their preferred white gloves partner for non-fiction ebooks. We have a unique relationship with Blackstone Audio to distribute audios and with Two Rivers Distribution to distribute books to retail bookstores. Blackstone and Two Rivers have more than one hundred sales reps and distribute product internationally. Waterside Publishing titles have sold millions of copies and our primary focus is on authors who have established audiences and are able to promote their books aggressively.
WILLIAM GLADSTONE
Bill Gladstone founded Waterside Productions, Inc. in 1982 and has personally placed more than 5000 titles with dozens of publishers. He has represented stars of the technical world ranging from Peter Norton to Linus Torvalds and was responsible for selling the first “For Dummies” book, DOS for Dummies by Dan Gookin, which led to the phenomenal series which now has sold over 200 million copies.
Currently Mr. Gladstone personally represents individual authors such as spiritual teachers Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Barbara DeAngelis, and Neale Donald Walsch, radio talk show host Thom Hartmann, international peace advocate Dr. Ervin Laszlo, philanthropist Shari Arison, New York Times bestselling author Victor Villasenor, environmental activists Michael Tobias, Paul Ehrlich, Hunter Lovins, and many other outstanding authors and professionals dedicated to creating books which inspire and improve the world. Mr. Gladstone is also the author of DR. AND MASTER SHA: MIRACLE SOUL HEALER, the best-selling novels THE TWELVE and THE POWER OF TWELVE, co-author with Jack Canfield of THE GOLDEN MOTORCYCLE GANG as well as producer of the film TAPPING THE SOURCE and co-author of the book TAPPING THE SOURCE (released in paperback as THE COMPLETE MASTER KEY SYSTEM). Mr. Gladstone is the host for the public television series Inside Wellness and also the series Soul Healing Miracles with Dr. and Master Sha.
GAYLE GLADSTONE
Gayle Gladstone has worked as a TV and film producer and talent manager including managing the career of actor, musician, and songwriter Hoyt Axton. As a film producer, her film Tapping the Source won international acclaim and numerous awards.
Gayle focuses on publishing books from authors who are pushing the boundaries of awareness. Gayle delights in books that bring joy and wisdom to others. Gayle’s philanthropic activities include working with children and victims of sexual abuse.
Gayle is the pillar of her family which includes eight children and step children and more than a dozen grandchildren and step grandchildren. Gayle has unique intuitive abilities and is dedicated to bringing kindness to the world.
Josh Freel
As assistant editor for Waterside Publishing, Josh Freel oversees the process that guides both author and manuscript through editing and design phases all the way through to publication. To date, Josh has successfully shepherded more than four hundred titles to publication. Josh manages Waterside’s exclusive relationship with Amazon’s Conversion Services team and acts as the main liaison between Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, Waterside, and our authors. He has years of freelance experience proofreading and copyediting and holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a copyediting certificate from UC San Diego.
